Neale Sourna Review, "the softer side": Fifty Shades Darker by E.L. James

Neale Sourna Review

Fifty shades DARKER is a misnomer. This story is actually BRIGHTER, LIGHTER. So, if fifty #1 made you squirm too much, read this one instead, it's softer, the lovers are more equal and understand their differences much better. There's more trust based in knowledge and therefore faith, more getting to the center of what his past is about, and less worry about her virgin to sub growth or de-evolvement, as many I've heard were afraid for her about.

She's fine. She's stronger than he is and she's pulling HIM upward. Stop chickening out and try this one, and really read and understand the explanations. We mislabel things in our heads and hearts, Christian does too. What we say about ourselves isn't always the actual us. That's covered here.

And explaining the "lifestyle" and experimenting with "vanilla" with a dash of, well, soft "lifestyle" will be more palatable and a better starter for many.

Then, perhaps, you can backtrack to number one, once you really understand this isn't the abusive, evil stuff that gets you on the news or in jail.

Oh, and not "Mommy Porn" it should be "Daddy Porn." If dad wants to get more and keep his lady wife happier perhaps he should take a few lessons on creativity, trust, and obedience from CG as he tantalizes, pleases, and fully obeys Ana in their most intimate moments. She can say "no" anytime or and he obeys. And when she says "yes," he makes it interesting, creative, explorative, and emotionally fulfilling, not just missionary sex boring.

No wonder I've heard so many women say they loved CG but were not so kind to virginal, sexually ignorant Ana--too close to home?

There are few women who wouldn't want a man who enjoys extended foreplay diddling AND afterglow all night cuddling. Oh, wait, these are FICTIONAL people. But they have much to teach us about our own love giving and emotionally sexual "hard and soft limits."

3 Free Short Story Chapters: Raj by Neale Sourna (soft romantic erotica)

Raj

by

Neale Sourna

A great Indian lady chooses a British Raj officer from the crowd for her amusement; but discovers her choice may bring her more than she expected.

-------

The tiresome British have been here for some time and find our ceremonies "fascinating" in a "quaint manner"; believing we are their British India. They do love parades in pretty clothes. And that is when I saw him, standing among the crowd of the faithful with two other "redcoat" officers kept back behind my official guard, as I entered for my official duties.

Our gazes locking upon the other caused a feeling as palpable as one's skin in an electrical storm.

Upon my exiting the temple, he was still there, just beyond the iron gates, separating us from them.

I spoke to my man and kept on, and the Britisher was collected and brought the secret way to my private apartments.

He was stripped—a fine figure from my hidden vantage—as he was washed and redressed in silks and finest linen, with only a few protests of good-natured curiosity from him, but no excessive, disrespectful attitude of superiority, or entitlement, so often rampant in one of his nation and race.

"What is your name, sir?"

He was startled by my appearance, and his eyes bulged, so did his linen trousers, when he beheld me in my simple gown, cut low between my generous breasts. He appeared unable to speak, or think.

"Sir. Your personal name, nor more."

"Sutton Palm—. Sutton. Ma'am." Hm. Very respectful, and attractive.

"Tell me what you thought, and felt, as your gaze first met mine. Exactly." He blushed, rather terribly.

"It wouldn't be proper, ma'am. Great Lady."

"Tell me, or I'll send you away, this instant." A look of distress distorted his fine, honest features. "Exactly, sir. Now." His gaze met mine in challenge, and then fell away.

"Nothing. My mind blanked, but I-I felt as one when caught in an electrical storm which makes the hairs upon one's body stand." Ah. Good answer.

I took him by the hand and led him to a soft bed of pillows, and we reclined together...http://stories.neale-sourna.com/Raj.html

"Writing about sex is too easy and not REAL literature."

How many times have you heard this, or something like it? Or maybe I just notice it when its spoken and, sometimes, not spoken, but implied in tone and texture--because I am a writer, of erotica, both soft and hardcore.

Do they say "Writing about violence is too easy and not REAL literature," or "Writing a mystery about murdering people is too easy and not REAL literature"?

No.

Writing sexy and loving material about gentle loves and hard, physical loving and lovemaking is FUN, but takes energy and focus and SKILL. Try it sometimes yourself.

WRITING PROMPT:

1. Write a scene about two sweet people (of whatever gender and sexual persuasion) who BELONG together in every way you can imagine and admit their love to each other.

2. Now, rewrite it with one of them balking and dragging their feet about admitting true love.

3. Then, rewrite it with both of them clearly want each other, but they're hardcore about pushing each other to the edge. You pick their sexy edge: sex in the open, a little violence, some bondage, menstrual blood, cutting, etc.

Hm, not so easy now. Or do you think these characters, these realistic "real" people are just deviants and not interesting or appropriate for an general, adult audience. Hm....
